Transfer Talk: Blues announce two trialists for Oxford trip

Birmingham City have announced that two trialists will be in the squad for when they take on Oxford United this afternoon.

Simeon Slavchev is a 23-year-old midfielder who is on trial from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.

Eddie Afonso is also 23, and he is a left-back who is on trial from Recreativo Do Libolo.

Blues manager Harry Redknapp is very keen to bolster his squad and after naming a smaller squad to face Oxford this afternoon, the club revealed that Afonso and Slavchev would both be on the bench and may feature in the second half.
