Birmingham City have rejected a bid from Championship rivals Hull City for Ryan Shotton, the Birmingham Mail have reported.
A number of clubs are said to be chasing the 28-year-old’s signature who only signed permanantly for Blues last summer.
Shotton became a prominent feature in defence after joining from Derby County and made 43 appearances for Blues last season- more than any other player.
He was signed under Gary Rowett for a mere £300,000 (after an initial loan period) and the club are thought to be demanding significantly more if he is to be lured away from St. Andrew’s.
