“Does not sit at all well”: Brian Dick not a fan of potential changes that could affect Blues

|

It might not affect us now, but it does certainly have some major ramifications on what the future would and could hold for Blues.

And then opinion might change somewhat, but this is all just talk for now.

As I’m sure you’ll have seen by now, a report in The Telegraph has revealed that there could be some big changes coming to English football, and whilst most of it surrounds the Premier League, there are some changes that would affect us, such as the 25% fee to the EFL and its clubs, as well as the scrapping of the League Cup.

One other major one would be the idea of tweaking the playoffs to make it a battle of 3rd, 4th and 5th in the Championship facing off against the team 3rd bottom of the Premier League which is something that Blues journalist Brian Dick doesn’t seem to be a fan of all:

Will we achieve promotion under Karanka?

Yes

No

I will say, that if these proposals were in place in 2010/11, we’d have qualified for said playoffs, and when presented with another chance to stay up, who knows what would have happened in that situation.

What about you? What do you make of these proposed changes to English football?
