Darren Randolph, David Edgar and David Cotterill all leave Blues this week to take on some international duty.

Darren Randolph will represent the Republic of Ireland. They face Scotland on 14 November and the United States on the 20th.

David Edgar is to represent Canada against Panama on 18 November.

David Cotterill will get the chance to play for Wales in their game against Belgium on 18 November. Neal Eardley is on standby for this fixture as well.

All three players have been in good form for Birmingham and it does not come as a surprise that they are to be involved with their national teams.

Randolph in particular has seen a boost in form thanks to gary Rowett’s new ‘tough to beat’ attitude. Blues have stiffened up at the back and the keeper has two clean sheets to show for it.

David Edgar has been partly involved in the new defensive resurgence after missing the game against Wolves. The Canadian was already impressing before the new boss game in.

Finally Cotterill has been on fire since joining from Doncaster in the summer, a real direct runner with quality ball delivery. Although the wings aren’t an easy position to get into at the moment, he has done remarkably well for Blues.
