Bell, Townsend and Fry were all in action for their loan clubs this weekend.

Amari’i Bell made his debut for Swindon Town this weekend, away to Barnsley. The defender look composed throughout the game and his physicality will certainly stand him in good stead to do well in League Two.

A very bright prospect for the Blues if we can keep him fit. Arguably, one of our best young defenders.

A clean sheet for Bell topped off a very good performance both for the youngster and for the team. 3-0 the final score.

Another defender was James Fry who represented Leamington.

A 4-1 victory for Fry’s team meant that they progressed in the cup. James did fairly well for the full 90 minutes, but does need to increase his heading ability.

Lastly, Nick Townsend played the full game for Lincoln City in the Vanarama Conference.

He kept a clean sheet for Lincoln as his side won 2-0. Nick is a brilliant shot stopper and certainly has the ability to do well in the future.

It’s also interesting to note, that he is well liked, already, by the Lincoln City faithful.
