Robert Tesche has revealed that he will return to Nottingham Forest in the summer before deciding on where he future will lie.
Tesche joined Birmingham on loan after Nottingham Forest changed manager and the midfielder was cast aside in favor of more familiar players.
Rowett was in need of another option in the industrial side of midfield through fear of anything happening to Stephen Gleeson and David Davis. This fear actually rang true as Gleeson was dismissed for kicking out at St Andrews as Tesche joined.

The German insists he is having a good time at Birmingham in a recent interview but did not go as far as to commit his future to either club.
He acknowledged that he has another year to go at Forest and he would see how it goes at the end of the season. It would appear that should Forest decide to give him some assurances about game time he way well opt to stay there.
Should that not happen then Blues may be able to convince the player to come back to a club that he already knows. It is Tesche’s first season abroad and a familiar set up may be enough to tempt him back.
Tesche seems like a very competent player, that Rowett would be eager to keep hold off. A good tackler that can offload the ball well, and with quite the eye for an attacking pass is a handy addition to any squad that wants to get the ball forward quickly.
In truth, there is no clear indication as to which way this is likely to go until we reach the end of the season. Until then Blues just need to focus on playing well and going into the break with a positive atmosphere among the squad.
Birmingham do have funds available to recruit players and add the the budget as Rowett embarks on downsizing in quantity and an increasing the quality.
