Birmingham City Winger Demarai Gray played the full 90 minutes as England beat Denmark 3-2 in their opening European qualifying round.
England game from behind to 3-2 win. Gray was involved with the second goal, just before half-time, his effort deflected in for an own goal.
If England can go on to win the group then they will be guaranteed a place in the finals, which starts in July, in Greece.

Gray has kept his place in the England set up despite his form dipping off since the turn of the year. The Birmingham graduate looked really dangerous when he broke into the side during the first half of the season.
Perhaps teams are more aware of him now, they know what he is about and are putting out game plans to deal with him. Gray performing at international level will be a welcome break from the tactical marking and plans specific to him that he will face week in week out.
Next season, should Gray remain at Birmingham, will be a big year for the youngster. Is he a flash in the pan that Blues should have cashed in on or is he the real deal?
There is certainly the ability there to become a wonderful player, lets just hope he works hard and can adapt to the attention he is being given on and off the field.
Gary Rowett has already drawn attention to the need for Gray to be able to adapt to teams setting out to stop Gray and he is no doubt in capable hands behind the scenes. After all, he isn’t the only good talent this club has had a hand in sculpting into a promising player.
The Birmingham player will have another chance to play for England in their next game against Azerbaijan in Bayeux on Saturday before taking on France at Stade Louis Villemer on Tuesday. Hopefully these games will allow him to play with some more freedom and come back to Birmingham brimming with confidence.
