Birmingham have added to their attacking options by capturing Diego Fabbrini on emergency loan.
Gary Rowett has been eager to add to his attacking options after noting Blues were a bit light in the attacking midfield role. The Blues boss has stressed the need for having a diverse and useful squad and this is another attempt to achieve that.
Fabbrini will remain with Birmingham until the end of the season subject to a recall option Watford have on the player.

You may remember Diego Fabbrini after he put in a positive performance for Millwall in their 1-0 win at St Andrews earlier in the season. He was on loan with the London club and caused Blues all sorts of problems in that game.
Despite that good performance Fabbrini has failed to consistently hit the heights whilst on loan at Millwall and was since returned to Watford.
The Italian can play all across the midfield and that includes going upfront, although he is most likely to play behind the striker.
Fabbrini’s last performance for Millwall came in a substitute performance against Brighton. He played just 9 minutes. Apart from that, the attacking midfielder had played regularly for Millwall and managed to get on the score sheet against Sheffield Wednesday.
A study of his form would suggest that he is capable of playing very well before he drops off for a few games, so it will be a test of Gary Rowett’s man management ability to get the best form possible from the Italian.
All in all it is another option that offers something different for Blues going forward, something that has been much needed in recent weeks.
