Robbie Savage has taken to his Twitter account to mark the day of his 12th Blues anniversary. Savage signed for Blues all that time ago and had some interesting comments.

The former hero, now arguably zero, said he loved it at Blues, beating Aston Villa and enjoying the team and manager he had. He also called the supporters fantastic before he “spoilt it”.

Welshman Savage described the 3-0 and St Andrews and the 2-0 at Villa Park as some of the best nights of his life and jokingly referred to Dugarry as the second best player in the team.

He signed off with:

“I even enjoyed the headbutt #didntevenhurt x”

Savage signed for Blues for an estimated £1.25 million and made 82 league starts before being transferred to Blackburn under unfavourable circumstances.
