Unless there is a late change Roger East will be the referee that takes charge of the game against Derby at Pride Park this weekend.

The Wiltshire based official last took charge of a game involving City on Friday 30 November when Middlesbrough were the visitors to St Andrews in the Championship. Blues won the game 3-2 thanks to a goal from Wade Elliott and a brace from Marlon King. Two players were shown yellow cards including Paul Robinson for City.

This season East has taken charge of seven games so far this season handing out 18 yellow cards but no red. Last season he managed 147 yellows and six red from the 44 games he took charge of.

East’s assistants for the game will be Adrian Holmes and Steven Copeland, while taking up the duties of fourth official will be Keith Hill.
