New Birmingham Boss Gary Rowett spends a lot of his time studying and challenging his own methods to make sure he is developing as a football manager.
His former boss Paul Peschisolido has revealed that he is a ‘special manager’ on that basis and is sure that he will go on to do well in his career.
Good news for Blues fans!
Rowett took Burton from League Two relegation battles to consecutive play-off finishes and was eager to make the step up to the a bigger club. That bigger club had to be the right one, though.
Peschisolido on bbc.co.uk ‘I have seen Gary work and that’s why I brought him in as my number two when I was at Burton and I think he one of these special managers – I really do.
He studies the game. He has a real passion for football and he is always challenging himself and reading to better himself. I knew he would do well and he will go on to do well.’
Rowett will probably have his work cut out for him studying the 8-0 defeat by Bournemouth, but it appears he is well equipped for the job ahead.
