Redknapp interested in Bristol City defender

Birmingham City are interested in bringing Bristol City defender Aden Flint to St. Andrew’s, Nick Mashiter of the Press Association is reporting.

The club are yet to make a bid for the 28-year-old but it’s clear that Harry Redknapp is on the search for another centre back.

Despite already signing Marc Roberts this summer, the 70-year-old is still looking to bolster his defensive options.

Ryan Shotton has been the subject of a bid from Championship rivals Middlesbrough but that offer fell short of Blues valuation.

There has been plenty of speculation around the future of Flint, who was ever present in the Championship last season as he played every minute of every league game for the Robins.
