Birmingham City face their second away game in four days on Tuesday night as they head north to take on Wigan Athletic.

The League One winners earned their first three points in the Sky Bet Championship at the weekend beating Blackburn Rovers comfortably in a 3-0 win at the DW Stadium.

Similarly, Blues also grabbed their first three points at the weekend in what was a much better performance from Gary Rowett’s side.

Goals from Jacques Maghoma and Michael Morrison gave Blues a well deserved victory in what was arguably their best competitive performance for a long time, including some of last seasons games.

It is going to be hard to predict this weeks line-up because I am unsure whether Rowett will stick with the 4-3-3 formation or whether he will revert back to his tried and trusted 4-2-3-1.

Down below is how I think Blues will line-up against the Latics on Tuesday night…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Spector
CB: Shotton
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds
CM: Tesche
CM: Gleeson
CM: Davis
RW: Cotterill
ST: Donaldson
LW: Maghoma

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Kieftenbeld, Stewart, Fabbrini, Adams, Storer.

As you can see, I have only made one change to the side that walked away from Elland Road with all three points at the weekend and that change is in midfield.

Although at times Maikel Kieftenbeld is unplayable, I personally don’t think he is at full fitness just yet following the knock he picked up during preseason so I have put Robert Tesche in the starting XI for the game against Wigan.

Blues fans, do you agree with what has been predicted? Let us know in the comment section down below!
