Gary Rowett’s Birmingham City travel to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon in what is the battle of the former Burton Albion bosses.

Since the two sides first met in the 1950/51 season, Blues have only managed to register five wins against the London side on the home sides soil, but having travelled well all season, Rowett will be hoping to make that six.

Following back to back clean sheets, making that six in the last nine, Blues will be hoping that their defensive solidity continues when they play the R’s this weekend, who has draw their last two games 1-1.

I think Rowett will make a few changes to the side that beat struggling Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night, but he will also be mindful not to disrupt the current flow of the team that has only lost three in the last 14 league matches.

Below is the side that I think Rowett will field at the weekend as well as the substitutes.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Robinson
LB: Grounds
CDM: Kieftenbeld
CDM: Gleeson
RAM: Cotterill
CAM: Toral
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Donaldson

Substitutes: Legzdins, Spector, Shotton, Davis, Buckley, Fabbrini, Vaughan.

As you can see I have made a few changes to the side that won 1-0 at St.Andrews earlier in the week with Paul Caddis coming into the right back slot in place of Ryan Shotton.

I have also opted to swap Diego Fabbrini and Will Buckley out for David Cotterill and Jon Toral because I think set pieces could be key against a strong defensive QPR side.

Blues fans, what do you make of this weeks predicted line up? Would you make the changes that have been made? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
