Birmingham City will not be signing any loan players in the near future, due to the Club’s current high levels of performance. Rowett has told bcfc.com that he will review the situation after the international break.

The Midlands team are currently occupying 4th spot and that in itself is an indication of the squads quality this season. Some fantastic results against tough opposition may have also went some way into convincing Gary Rowett that he has enough. The home draw with Derby County was a particular highlight, Blues traded blows with one of the best teams in the league.

The question of when to bring some more players in is yet to be answered. There is no secret that Blues are trimming down the numbers in order to add quality, however will there come a time Blues need more bodies, as the games take their toll.

English football does not take a festive break and come January Rowett’s stance on players may change. Blues do still have a limited budget and the fans would do well to remember that the manager remains limited in how he can change things.

Nevertheless, Blues are flying and bringing in more players would just mean they would remain on the sidelines. As we already have players on the sidelines desperate to play, I’m with Rowett – I don’t think we need anymore at the moment.
