‘Love that!’, ‘Magical’: These Birmingham fans are delighted with FA Cup draw

|

Birmingham City have been in fine form this season and took their recent record to six wins in nine matches after beating Preston on Saturday.

Back-to-back wins have seen the Blues bounce back from the disappointment of a defeat to Aston Villa and have presented Garry Monk’s side with an opportunity to extend their fine run of form throughout the busy festive period.

The Blues face a wealth of challenges over the course of the next six weeks, which ends with the FA Cup third round weekend.

Monday night’s draw handed Birmingham a tasty clash as Monk’s side will travel to face Premier League outfit West Ham at the London Stadium, giving the Blues a decent opportunity to cause an upset at the start of their FA Cup venture this season.

On top of that, the two sets of fans will be united by their distaste in West Ham owners David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady, all of whom previously had a stake at Birmingham and are unpopular at the club.

We have gathered some of the reactions from the supporters below.
