Giving it the more personal touch.
It just makes the connection that extra special when you think about it.
We detailed yesterday about how the fans reacted to the departure of James Beattie, Darryl Flahavan and Sean Rush from the club as new boss Aitor Karanka gets set to put his own staff in charge at St Andrew’s.
However, fitness coach Rush took the opportunity to send out his own personal message to the fans following his departure from the club, saying how humbled he was at the first batch of messages.
Will next season start with...
Fans staying away
Fans in grounds
The fitness coach came in for a large part of the praise when the club made the announcement, with some pointing out that fitness levels played a major part in how the team played in the past few seasons, but this latest message gave supporters a chance to be more emotive in their messages for the departing coach.
Your a top man Sean and done an amazing job for us, good luck to you and your family in the future.

Massive loss for the club to have you depart. Proper blues from day 1. Wherever you land up at from here on out, what a lucky club they will be.

Never met you but you just seemed to get the fans. Thanks for everything you’ve done and good luck. Bet you could write a book on the last 2.5 years.

What about you? What do you make of the departure of Rush from the club?
