Do you reckon the club did this deliberately?

They must have known what the reaction was going to be, yet they still went ahead with it.

As has become a tradition with Blues fans this summer, every tweet that the club sends out usually gets a good amount of responses demanding that the club ‘announce Puscas’. The club has been linked with the Romanian for a few days now, and Birmingham fans are getting anxious that the deal might never get done. Even something as simple as the squad numbers being released is seen as an opportunity to get their feelings heard.

Not only are they resorting to shouting at the social media team, but it looks as if they’ve reached conspiracy theory levels of obsessed.

They noticed that the number nine has been left blank. Is this a sign that they’ve left it vacant for his arrival? That’s what these fans all thought and whilst it is a bit of a big hint, nothing is official until he holds up the shirt. And as the Sunjic holdup showed, even then it isn’t 100% official.

Although the number nine doesn’t necessarily mean that a striker is going to be brought in, that number can be worn by anyone, as Khalid Boulahrouz proved when he played for Chelsea.

  • Probably being offered as part of the deal to tempt him, but if he doesn’t want to play for us then someone else will, and they will get number 9.
I’m not sure of a players commitment if he is hanging on for a deal from elsewhere. He would have signed by now if he wanted to play for the Blues. Ours is likely the best offer the club have had but perhaps not the best option for him.

    • Not necessarily GAZEL, surely the clubs have to agree a fee first, THEN he can make his decision where he wants to go. By the way, it’s RUMOURED that Brighton are showing an interest in Puscas. WHO KNOWS, WE’LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT NEXT WEEK BRINGS.

  • I think it’s more than likely saved for Alvro Gimanez who appears to be joining from Almeria. He’s allegedly having a medical on Monday, after Blues met his release clause of €1.5mill.
Although the rumours seem to be gathering pace that he is in England, with reports that Puscas has been to Wast Hills TWICE today, plus, reports from Italythat a fee HAS been agreed by the two clubs.
We could be set to announce TWO strikers on Monday, who knows ?????

  • Rumours of a €6.7 million deal agreed For Puscas. And he is in England at wasthills since 4 o clock contract agreed set for medical.

  • It would be nice to get our primary target fingers crossed we sign him up would be a great replacement for che Adams. Just worried were we have found all this money from with the financial fair play can we dream or is it just to much to ask I’m hoping it’s true.
