That’s it guys, just keep the new contracts coming.

They’re not as exciting as new transfers, but it gives the club a bit of stability and the fans one less thing to worry about.

City yesterday announced that French defender Maxime Colin had signed a new deal with the club, keeping him in a blue shirt until 2023. The 27-year-old was signed by Harry Redknapp back in 2017 from Brentford in a £3m deal and has been a near ever-present in the side and has managed to make 80 appearances for the Blues.

Whilst it wasn’t the news that Birmingham fans were hoping for, still waiting for George Puscas to put pen to paper, it’s still come as a good surprise for Blues supporters.

They took to Twitter to express their joy that yet another part of the club furniture (even if it’s a relatively new piece having only been here two years), is set to stay for the foreseeable future.

If they’re this excited about a defender signing, you wonder how mad they’ll go if and when Puscas does eventually get signed. We’re not allowed to post swear words on this site, and I don’t think I’ll have a lot of ‘safe material’ to use.

  • More to the point, can somebody who actually knows this idiot Waycool Blue have a word. His pathetic comments that infer he has ‘inside info.etc’as to transfers and players contracts is past laughable.Last evening he posted a comment that Puscas was at Wast Hills and had been since 4pm.having a medical after agreeing a contract etc. Walter Mitty springs to mind.

    • I did not say that and do not call me an idiot what I said was The Italian Media claim that is what is happening. I am not claiming anything and I do not claim to have inside information I just do research. I can read Spanish and I can read Italian. And that’s the news in Spain and Italy. If you don’t like it and you don’t like what I’ve got to say then you don’t have to read it.

  • Give me two sentences in Italian and Spanish that reads..Puscas was reported to be at Wast Hills undergoing a medical from 4pm yesterday. Then you might get credibility.

  • Waycool.Look save yourself anymore embarrassment. You stated he was at Wast Hills having a medical yesterday. Not the press, not anybody of any kind.Just you. How can you say it is in black and white. Birmingham Mail have never quoted he is at Brum having agreed a contract and been at the training ground since 4pm.yesterday. If you want a bit of stardom try writing an article. Just don’t fantasise.

    • I’m not embarrassed you’re the one who are embarrising. You were wrong and I was right everything I said has been in black and white are many websites. I never once said it was true I just reported on what I have read. You do not have to read what I have to say and I do not care if you believe it or not. I’m not saying it’s true and I am not saying that I believe it all what I’m saying is that is what is in the news. In Spain Italy France & England. But the latest is Sheffield United have also put an offer so maybe we lose out. If that is true.

    • The Spanish Media wrote that he was at Wast Hills not me if you read my comments on the other article you can see I clearly say that at beforehand.

The same claim was made by the Italian Media.
I did not say it was true.

Does the Birmingham Mail say that the report came out in Italy that he was in England and yes it does. 9 hours after I read it in the Spanish and Italian news. Which proves I didn’t just make it up so get a life.

  • You pop up Waycool on all the sites stating the same. Nothing wrong with that but you do try and fool everyone that you have a heads up on transfers, contracts and the like.Being or trying to be important isn’t good.Just enjoy who you are.

    • He’s actually right though it is in the Spanish Media it’s also been on Sky Sports now it’s only a rumour and he hasn’t said that it’s, true. So credit where credit is due. I don’t think he’s pretending that knowing what he’s talking about more than anyone else. I don’t think he’s claiming to have inside information.

  • John Flavel. It is nice you put in a good word for him but he cruises all the sites pretending he ‘knows ‘ what is happening. Harmless he is but being something and pretending to know things that others at the time don’t is not good for him. Expect today he will blurt out that he expected Blues to beat Brentford.
