Forward ‘Desperate’ To Secure Transfer Away From Birmingham With Just Days To Deadline

|

Diego Fabbrini is “desperate” to secure a move away from the club, according to the Birmingham Mail, and doesn’t want to stay for another six months.

Reports had suggested that Serie B side Siena could be interested in making a move for the forward, but so far it seems no bids for the 28-year-old have been forthcoming.

The Italian transfer window closes on Friday, and with the deadline just a couple of days way, the Mail report that Fabbrini is now training alone as we look to get him off the books.

The player had been training with the Under 23s, and it’s unclear why he has been separated from the development squad.

With the manager wanting him to leave, and Fabbrini determined to secure his exit, it’s certainly in the best interests of all concerned that he secures his move this summer.

Of course, other countries have transfer windows closing on August 31st but it does seem his best chance of getting a move away is back to his native Italy. We’ll have to wait and see if something can be worked out.
