Birmingham City are reportedly lining up a move for their former goalkeeper Adam Legzdins, according to the Birmingham Mail online.

The ex-Blues shot stopper was part of the academy in the West Midlands and left the club in 2008. After his spell with Blues, he went on to play for Crewe Alexandra and Burton Albion, where he played under another former player, Paul Peschisolido.

Born in Penkridge, the 28 year old keeper shone so well during his time at the Pirelli Stadium that he earned himself a move to Derby County. After making 37 appearances for the Rams, he struggled to get back into the team which led to him re-joining Burton on loan towards the end of the 2011-2012 season, where he played under current Blues manager Gary Rowett.

Following the release of both Darren Randolph and Colin Doyle, who have joined West Ham United and Blackpool respectively, the addition of Legzdins would be welcome news to all Blues fans as they become more and more anxious about the lack of additions to the squad ahead of what promises to be a very exciting season under Rowett.

Along with the former Blues keeper who has just been released by Leyton Orient, ex-Swindon Town keeper Wes Foderingham is also reportedly on Rowett`s radar and a decision on his future is set to be announced within the next 10 days it is believed.

Blues fans, would you like to see Legzdins back at St.Andrews or do you think the club should be pushing harder to get Foderingham into the club? Let us know in the comment section below!
