Vital Blues co-editor, Rob Wildey, put the questions to Leeds United fan, Michael McNally.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON GARRY MONK?

For me, Garry Monk becoming manager is massive for the club. I believe that, if he is given time, he will get Leeds playing good football. A young hungry manager is what Leeds United definitely needed this time and we have that in Garry Monk.

WHAT WOULD MARK A GOOD SEASON FOR LEEDS?

A good season for Leeds would be a top 8 finish. We have made plenty of signings and it’s going to take time for them to settle in. With the size of the club, the expectation every year is promotion but this league is very tough.

WHAT SHOULD BIRMINGHAM EXPECT FROM LEEDS?

Birmingham should expect a noisy Elland Road and a much more improved Leeds United than the one that turned up at QPR. The Leeds fans will want a reaction and I’m sure that will happen, Leeds will be up for this game.

WHICH LEEDS PLAYER SHOULD BIRMINGHAM BE WARY OF?

Kemar Roofe is one player Birmingham should be wary of as he has a lot of pace and skill. He has come up from League 2 and big things are expected of this young lad and hopefully he will thrive off the Elland Road atmosphere.

IF YOU HAD TO SIGN ONE BIRMINGHAM PLAYER FOR THE LEEDS SQUAD, WHO WOULD IT BE?

David Cotterill. I liked him when he played for Swansea, he makes things happen. It`s very dangerous to give him time on the ball and free kicks anywhere near the box. Hopefully he will have an off day against us.

ELLAND ROAD IS ONE OF THE MORE TRADITIONAL GROUNDS, BUT WHICH ENGLISH FOOTBALL STADIUM IS YOUR FAVOURITE?

My favourite stadium is Leicester`s King Power. It’s a simple ground, you are close to the pitch and when packed it has to be one of the noisiest grounds. For me, a good atmosphere is everything in a stadium.

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOR PROMORTION THIS SEASON AND WHY?

This is a very difficult league to predict but I do think the likes of Norwich and Newcastle will be fighting for top spot but I’m going to say Sheffield Wednesday. They have the squad depth to go all out this season after the heart ache of last season.

WHAT IS YOUR PREDICTION FOR THE GAME?

I’m going for a 2-1 Leeds win. I think it will be a tough game as they always are against Birmingham but I think with the big home crowd behind us we will get the three points.
