Donaldson Joins Blues From Brentford.

Birmingham City have completed the signing of Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson.

The 30-year-old officially joins the club on July 1st after turning down a new contract offer at Griffin Park.

Last season, Donaldson played a major part in Brentford’s promotion to the Championship by weighing in with 18 goals.

Donaldson is the ninth new player through the door at St Andrews this summer and closely follows David Cotterill who also arrived this week.

Since joining Brentford from Crewe Alexandra in 2011, he has managed 53 goals from his 155 appearances.
