Though the international break is currently ongoing, there is still plenty going on that is getting Birmingham City fans online talking.

One thing that has, over the last day or so, generated a lot of chatter has come from the official Premier League Twitter page. Now, whilst the Blues may no longer be in the English top flight, their importance and history in the division cannot be forgotten, and it seems as though the Premier League agree.

They recently named a classic Blues goal as their Goal of the Day on their official Twitter page, and it came from none other than Christophe Dugarry.

A brilliant and exciting flick saw the Frenchman put the ball past the Charlton goalkeeper, and it’s fair to say that it’s a moment that hasn’t been forgotten amongst fans.

Many Birmingham City supporters have taken to Twitter to discuss the finish, and it’s fair to say that Dugarry holds a strong place in many of their hearts.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…

What other classic goals do you remember from the mighty Blues?

Thoughts?

  • We’re Birmingham supporter we don’t live in the past. It’s now that counts. Let’s leave the estrorisam to that lot across the expressway.

    Any real news ?

  • Agree Jimmy, this site should be concentrating on a very important week for our club.Does anyone realise(or care) that TTA two year exclusivity ends this weekend? Does Paul Suen carry on or offload? Do the EFL intend releasing a statement about our fate this week with the 8 week notice period before the next window opens. All major issues overlooked in preference to minor tepid topics by this site.
