Reports are tonight suggesting that Blues have tabled a second offer for Sheffield United striker Che Adams – thought to be in the region of £1.7m
Blues had an initial £1.2m offer rejected for the 20 year-old last week. But manager Gary Rowett is determined to land his man and has returned with the improved offer which reportedly includes add-ons.
Adams scored 12 goals for the Blades last season and can play as a centre forward or slightly wider.
Sheffield United today completed the signing of their long sought after target, Leon Clarke from Bury. The deal to take Clarke to Bramall Lane may persuade United to cash in on Adams.
