It has been well documented this transfer window that Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp has been quite disappointed with the lack of bodies coming through the door.

Despite making three very impressive signings in the shapes of David Stockdale, Marc Roberts and Cheikh Ndoye, the 70-year-old boss still isn’t happy with the amount of players that he has brought in.

Redknapp has publicly admitted that he has been disappointed with the lack of additions and that he would like to sign another six players before the summer window slams shut.

A general thought is that Redknapp would like to get two bodies in before the Swansea City game on Saturday afternoon, a game which is Blues’ only home preseason match.

Who those players are is anyone’s guess really but having wasted far too much time on Stewart Downing, Redknapp should now consider other options.

With that in mind, I believe I have identified a trio of players that the former Portsmouth boss should consider making a swoop for.

In a report on the BBC Sport website on Monday afternoon, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe revealed that he would be willing to let Marc Wilson, Max Gradel and Lewis Grabban all leave the club if the right offers came in for all three players.

At the end of last season, Ivorian Gradel revealed that he was ready to leave the Cherries in order to gain more first team football.

With the 29-year-old winger currently valued around just over £5 million according to transfermarkt.co.uk, he could well turn out to be a good buy for Redknapp and Blues.

Add into the mix Irishman Wilson, who is also 29, for a further £2 million, that could prove to be another steal by the so called wheeler dealer that is Mr.Redknapp.

Then, to put the final nail in the transfer coffin, Blues could add Grabban, also 29, to the deal for around £3 million meaning that the trio would make the move to St.Andrew’s in a cost effective £10 million deal.

Blues have a bigger budget than they have ever had before this summer and it is time for Redknapp to open the previously mentioned ‘war chest’ that he was promised.

I believe that he should go all out to sign Gradel, Wilson and Grabban because all three would add great depth and experience to the squad, something which at the moment I feel we are lacking.

Blues fans, do you think the club should look into the possibility of signing this Bournemouth trio in a bumper £10 million deal? Let us know in the comment section down below!
