Birmingham City have made their Jacques Maghoma their second signing of the summer following the announcement via the official club website.

The 27 year old has signed a two year deal with the option of a further year in the clubs favour. The former Tottenham Hotspur’s academy product can play on either flank and has already worked with manager Gary Rowett.

After joining the Brewers following his release from Spurs, the Zaire born midfielder made 172 appearances during his four year spell with the club. In his first season under the watchful eye of former Blues player Paul Peschisolido, Maghoma was named in the League Two PFA team of the year following his impressive 18 goal contribution.

In the summer of 2013, Maghoma earned himself a move to Wednesday. Despite having played 66 times for the Owls, he only managed to find the net four times. However, when Blues played Sheffield Wednesday last term, Maghoma was the stand out player for the home side in what was a poor game all round.

Blues fans, are you happy to finally have signed a player? Do you think Maghoma will do well under Rowett? Let us know in the comment section down below!
