Who Is Demarai Gray?

Demarai Gray will be in tonight’s squad to face Millwall. Lee Clark is clearly not afraid to bring young lads in the mix, money wise it makes sense, as for quality well you can only wait and see.

The lad is an attacking forward. This is a position quickly filling up within the ranks, I’m not so sure he will get on the pitch tonight but who knows? I’m not the manager.

He trained with the first team on Monday and scored with almost everything he did, earning a nod from Lee Clark. Apparently, based on what Clark told the Birmingham Mail, Gray was brilliant in training and really went for it. The main thing I take from that is that he wants this chance and will certainly try and take it, and in the current climate at Birmingham that is good enough for me!

Wade Elliot is a doubt, still struggling with his calf. An injury that may be facilitating this young boys inclusion tonight but won’t be the reason to force him back out the team if he does well, Clark’s not afraid to use these young guns and I doubt he’s afraid to keep them in the mix either.
