The transfer mill has been in full swing on the ninth day of the transfer window, with Blues being linked with a number of strikers – and with one currently on the books possibly leaving.

Fans FC are reporting that Njazi Kuqi has joined Dutch side ADO Den Haag on trial with view to a loan and possible permanent transfer. The 22-year-old Finn has failed to make an impression at Blues, and Steve Bruce may well be looking to loan him out for him to gain first team football. Den Haag will also be looking for some firepower to propel them away from their lowly position in the Eredivisie.

Meanwhile, Clubcall are reporting Blues are back in for Charlton’s Jason Euell after nearly signing him in the summer. Injury put paid to that move, but there are suggestions that Bruce again wants to add him to the squad.

The Birmingham Post are reporting that Bruce is interested in Wolves’ Kenny Miller. The Scottish international striker is out of contract in the summer and, having turned down the offer of a new contract, looks set to leave the club – with Wolves reportedly ready to cash in.

Robert Earnshaw’s name has again also been linked with the club, with the Baggies’ striker also apparently interesting Portsmouth, Everton and Wigan. The player admitted at the weekend that he needs ‘to get away from West Brom’, and is rated at £3 million – the cash amount that Blues offered Crystal Palace for Andy Johnson (or not, as the case may be).

Jiri Jarosik’s agent has also told Sky Sports that he has had an offer from Zenit St. Petersburg for the Czech midfielder to move in the January transfer window, after previously expressing his desire to return to Russia. Jarosik was reportedly the Russian side’s number one target, but his agent Viktor Kolar told the channel: ‘The decision depended on Jiri. He decided to stay with Birmingham eventually.’
