@LiamGraphics has been hard at work designing a new concept design for the club’s new third kit. His first design was based on the 11/12 away strip, but his latest looks to have taken inspiration from a different season.
The black and yellow shirt has taken the colours from the 09/10 away jersey by Umbro:

When I polled fans over whether they liked this particular mock-up design, it seems opinion is firmly down the middle on this one:
Personally, I quite like it, but I can understand those who see the bright yellow as a bit garish. We’ll have to see what Adidas come up with, but it will take some doing to better the away shirt which has gone down extremely well with fans.
The yellow and blue design will go on sale both in store and online on Wednesday, and it’s likely to be flying off the shelves on its release.
