The super seven of January! Option No.2

In the second of our super seven of January articles, the next player who I think could make a huge difference to the Birmingham City squad is Tom Bradshaw.

The Walsall forward is just 23 years old and has a great goal scoring record in League One and I personally think he would be someone that could partner Clayton Donaldson up front.

It has been reported in the past that Blues have been tracking Bradshaw for some time, especially this season with the Welshman having scored 12 goals in 25 league and cup appearances, including an impressive hattrick against Nottingham Forest.

Bradshaw is rumoured to be looking for a move away from the club where he has been most successful and Blues could be ready to make a move from him after James Vaughan’s short term loan deal expired after Saturday’s win over Brentford.

It is believed that the young forward would be available for under £1 million and with the imminent sale of Demarai Gray, Blues boss Gary Rowett is likely to have a bit of money to spend.

However, if Blues were to make a move for him, they would face competition from Scottish giants Rangers and league rivals Huddersfield Town.

For me, Bradshaw is the sort of player that Blues need to be looking to bring in. I think he is ready to make the step up to the Championship and we need to act quick before somebody else makes a move for him.

Back in November, the Birmingham Mail online reported that we were interested in his services and I really do hope that these rumours are true!

Blues fans, would you like to see Tom Bradshaw brought into the club? Do you think he would be good competition for Clayton Donaldson? Let us know in the comment section down below!
