BURN OUT – Playing on a Thursday night may have done Blues a favour. The fixture dates mean Blues had four days rest between their victory against Hull and their game at Blackburn.

LAMBERT – Former Villa boss Paul Lambert, now in charge of Blackburn, is sure to be given some grief by the travelling Blues fans.

ANOTHER CLEAN SHEET – The win against Hull marked Blues` sixth clean sheet in eight games and their 14th in the league this season.

CADDIS – Paul Caddis has been in and out of the team this season, but he always worms his way back in. Caddis has saw off competition from Neal Eardley and Ryan Shotton to re-claim the right-back berth.

KUSZCZAK – The luck with goalkeepers keeps going. After a wobbly start to his Blues career, Tomasz Kuszczak has been a sensation in goal. His shot stopping abilities have never been doubted but his handling has massively improved throughout the campaign.

BIRTHDAY – Mothering Sunday also marked Gary Rowett`s 42nd birthday. Happy Birthday Sir Gary.

UNPLAYABLE – Clayton Donaldson has been described as unplayable at times this season and when he is on form, the statement is correct. But Jon Toral is equally as unplayable and against Hull, he was a revelation. His clever turn earned him his slice of luck for the goal and his intelligent trickery throughout the game was a joy to watch.

RIVALS – After the trip to Ewood Park, Blues make the short journey to Molineux to take on Midlands rivals Wolves, the venue of Rowett`s first game in charge.

NO EASY GAMES РThis may be a clich̩, but in the Championship, it rings true. Blues beat Hull, arguably the best side in the division. Wouldn`t it be typical Blues to lose at Blackburn? There are no easy games in the Championship.
