The draw for the 32 team Premier League Cup took place earlier this afternoon and there are a few significant Midland derby clashes this year.
The draw has put Derby County against Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion against Aston Villa as they formulated the eight groups with four sides a piece.
The top two teams from each group progress through to the knockout stages of the U23 tournament.
Swansea City are the defending Champions for 2017/18 and the Group Stage fixture dates will be confirmed by clubs directly, shortly.
Group A
Derby County, Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest
Group B
Blackburn Rovers, Southampton, Watford, Cardiff City
Group C
