Club Managing Director Panos Pavlakis believes the fans of the club can rest assured that he is doing all he can to help Gary Rowett strengthen the team.
Birmingham have now signed three players under Gary Rowett. Michael Morrison; Guy Moussi and Nikola Zigic in an effort to bolster the squad.
The Blues director is very happy with the signings and is going to continue to work with Rowett in changing the team to feel more like his own.
Pavlakis is eager to turn the fans attention back to the football field and away from the boardroom after unhelpful comments made by fellow director Peter Pannu.
Rowett took the Birmingham job after promises made by Mr Pavlakis about funds being availiable for him to shape the squad and so far so good. Signings have materialised when they have been asked for.
Up until now the new managing director has been working hard to restore a working relationship with the fans and has been trying to restore some order back at the club.
He has done a sterling job in the decisions he has made so far. He not only appointed Rowett but included key members of staff from the club in the recruitment process.
Following on from that Mr Pavlakis has worked with Rowett in securing signings for the team and to top it all off Mr Pavlakis has taken the time to speak to supporter groups and tried to restore communication from the club to the fans.
Birmingham are currently racing up the league table with remarkable success, long may it continue following the signing of Nikola Zigic.
