Oh yes, you know it’s that time again when the games start to come thick and fast! Although it isn’t quite the same as predicting which team I think will start on the opening day of the new season against Cardiff City on the 6th of August, I think predicting how Gary Rowett will play these games out in preseason is even tougher.

Unlike my usual predictions from last season, I will predict two teams for this game as I believe Rowett will look to give every player at least 45 minutes of playing time just so they can build up their fitness.

Like I have previously said, predicting who Rowett will field in each half is going to be very difficult but I will give it my best shot and see how far we get.

Down below are the two different 11’s that I think Blues boss Rowett will field against Blues’ first opponents back on British soil, Solihull Moors.

FIRST HALF:

GK: Legzdins
RB: Tiendalli
CB: Spector
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds
CDM: Tesche
CDM: Gleeson
RAM: Arthur
CAM: Shinnie
LAM: Solomon-Otabor
ST: Donaldson

SECOND HALF:

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Shotton
CB: Robinson
LB: Trialist
CDM: Davis
CDM: Kieftenbeld
RAM: Vaughan
CAM: Fabbrini
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Brock-Madsen

As you can see, both sides are a bit of a miss match and I will be surprised if I get any of the players right but if I was Rowett, these are the sort of sides that I would put out.

In the second half team, I have listed a trialist to play at left back. Now, I don’t know whether there will be anyone on trial, this is just a pure guess, but with competition expected for one of the full back positions next season, I think there could be another person playing on Tuesday night that is on trial, lets just wait and see!

Blues fans, do you expect Gary Rowett to play two different teams when the club face local side Solihull Moors on Tuesday night? Let us know in the comment section down below!
