Birmingham City travel to Charlton Athletic this weekend in search of their first win in almost a month.

The Addicks, who are currently sat second bottom of the league, have a good record against Blues at the Valley with the visitors only winning twice in the last 14 years at the iconic ground.

Blues’ new loan signing Kyle Lafferty looks set to miss the trip down to London with a groin injury that he suffered whilst he was away on international duty with Northern Ireland.

I have made a few changes to this weeks starting XI and I think some of the changes that I have made may surprise a few Blues fans because they aren’t changes that you would expect.

Down below is the side that I would send out to face Charlton this weekend as well as the substitutes bench…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Spector
LB: Grounds
CDM: Kieftenbeld
CDM: Gleeson
RAM: Cotterill
CAM: Toral
LAM: Buckley
ST: Vaughan

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Shotton, Maghoma, Davis, Fabbrini, Donaldson.

As you can see I have made a couple of changes to the starting XI that I would like to see face the Addicks this weekend at the Valley.

James Vaughan and Will Buckley have been drafted in at the expense of Clayton Donaldson and Jacques Maghoma who have both had long weeks with big international hauls.

Blues fans, what do you make of this weeks predicted line up? Would you drop Donaldson and Maghoma? Let us know in the comment section down below!
