Opinion: Predicted line up Vs Bristol City

All I can say is thank goodness the football is back! Although it has only been two weeks, it feels like an eternity.

Blues will be looking to continue their fine form when they take on Bristol on Saturday and I think they will.

The newly promoted side have had an up and down start to life in the second tier of English football and I think Blues should beat them comfortably.

Manager Gary Rowett will no doubt put out a strong side but I have a feeling he may want to rest some of the players who have been away on international duty, but I could be wrong.

As most people say, why fix something if it isn’t broke? I don’t want to fix or change the starting line up but I do think Rowett may have a play around with it.

Below is the team that I would field against City as well as the substitutes bench.

GK- Kuszczak
RB- Caddis
CB- Spector
CB- Morrison
LB- Grounds
CDM- Gleeson
CDM- Kieftenbeld
RAM- Gray
CAM- Toral
LAM- Maghoma
ST- Donaldson

Subs: Legzdins, Robinson, Eardley, Davis, Cotterill, Shinnie, Brock-Madsen.

I have put Cotterill on the bench because I think Rowett may rest him because of the international break but I could be completely wrong and he may stick with an unchanged side.

Player of the Month nominee Stephen Gleeson remains in my side but he may miss out if his ankle injury hasn’t healed in time.

Blues fans, who would be in your starting XI? Do you agree with my prediction? If not, what would you change? Let us know in the comment section down below!
