Following a disappointing and heartbreaking defeat on Saturday afternoon against Charlton Athletic at the Valley, I think Gary Rowett will once again change the team round.

I expect there to be at least three changes made to the XI that lost in the last minute at the weekend, with two changes coming in the attacking section.

Former Watford man and January signing Deigo Fabbrini can expect to see himself back on the bench after a very poor outing at the weekend and I also think that Huddersfield Town loanee James Vaughan will also find himself back on the bench.

Although Vaughan didn’t really do a lot wrong on Saturday, in fact I think he put in a good shift, I can see Rowett opting to go for Clayton Donaldson up front like he usually does.

Donaldson, who was a 62nd minute substitution on Saturday, really failed to make an impact when he entered the action and personally, if I was Gary I would leave him on the bench and give Vaughan one more game but hey ho, I’m not am I!

Below is the starting XI that I think Rowett will send out to face Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday night in what could be a very difficult night for the home side.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Spector
LB: Grounds
CDM: Gleeson
CDM: Kieftenbeld
RAM: Buckley
CAM: Toral
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Donaldson

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Cotterill, Davis, Fabbrini, Vaughan, Lafferty.

As you can see, I have made a total of five changes to the XI that was fielded on Saturday against the Addicks and I think that Rowett may actually go this drastic as well.

At the back I have swapped Jonathan Spector and Paul Robinson around, in midfield I have restored Maikel Kieftenbeld to the starting line up in place of David Davis and on the right wing I have opted to go for Will Buckley instead of David Cotterill.

The other two changes that I have made are Maghoma and Donaldson in for Vaughan and Fabbrini like I had previously discussed.

Blues fans, what do you make of this weeks starting XI? Is it one that you would choose yourself? Let us know in the comment section down below!
