When Lukas Jutkiewicz joined Birmingham City on deadline day in August, many Blues fans were very sceptical about what sort of impact he would make and whether he would actually score a goal for the club.

Well, I think it is safe to say that the impact he has made at the club is very positive, scoring five goals in 11 games and long may that run continue.

Blues boss Gary Rowett has made it very clear that the club would like to sign the 27-year-old forward in the January transfer window when his initial loan deal expires and I believe Blues will sign him on a permanent deal, it seems inevitable.

How much will we have to pay for him? My guess would be around the £500,000 mark, which for a player who has a ratio of a goal every 2.2 games seems rather cheap if you ask me!

So far for Blues, Jutkiewicz has performed relatively well with his record in front of goal proving all those doubters wrong.

Down below are his current stats for goals scored in games and it shows just why Blues really should sign him up before anyone else realises his potential.

Fulham (A) – NO GOAL
Reading (A) – NO GOAL
Sheffield Wednesday (H) – GOAL
Queens Park Rangers (A) – GOAL
Preston North End (H) – NO GOAL
Blackburn Rovers (H) – NO GOAL
Nottingham Forest (A) – GOAL
Rotherham United (H) – GOAL
Burton Albion (A) – NO GOAL
Aston Villa (H) – NO GOAL
Huddersfield Town (A) – GOAL

Judging by those stats above, the on loan striker will more than likely score in Blues’ next game which is against Bristol City on the 19th of November, a fixture which could prove significant come the end of the season.

Blues fans, how much do you want the club to sign Lukas Jutkiewicz? Were you one of the fans who doubted him? Let us know in the comment section down below!
