Lee Clark told the Official site that he is disappointed not to be able to offer the players deals.
Mark Little, Liam Davis and Adam McGurk have all been told they cannot sign on for Birmingham this season. The manager explained that for any more players to come in from this point one, he would need to see one or two players leave before hand.
Clark said he has told the players now in the interest of doing the right thing and leaving them with enough time to find another club hopefully before the season starts.
It is unlikely anything will happen at Birmingham for a while now, with Blues being unable to contribute to wages for loans either, expect to only see youngsters coming in that bigger clubs want to see play in the Championship.
