Birmingham`s James McFadden was on the mark for Scotland last night as the Jocks beat Iceland 2-1.

George Burley`s men went a goal up when Rangers defender Broadfoot got his international career off with a goal when he headed home Barry Robson’s corner on 18 minutes.

McFadden was felled in the box by Kristjan Sigurdsson to earn his side a penalty on the hour mark.

The Blues man stepped up to take the spot-kick and saw Kjartan Sturluson save his effort, but he reacted quickly to score from the rebound just ahead of his team-mate Robson.
