The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Fulham this Saturday.

Birmingham City travel to Fulham on Saturday September 10 for the game at Craven Cottage and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Tony Harrington

Fourth Official: Christopher O’Donnell

Match Day referee Harrington has officiated five games in 2016/17, showing 25 yellow cards and zero red cards.

This season his highest card count was seven in the game between Barnsley and Derby.

He took charge of 30 matches last season and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 72 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Fulham and Blackburn on September 13 with a total of five yellows being shown. He also showed five yellows in the Barnsley v Port Vale game on November 14. On December 5 he showed four yellows and one red in the Bolton v Cardiff game.

Harrington began refereeing in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance at the age of 14, having completed a basic refereeing course whilst at school as part of the Duke of Edinburgh award. After four years as an EFL assistant referee and four years as a National League referee, he was appointed to the EFL Referees List in 2012/13 and has now overseen more than 100 EFL matches.
