‘Makes no sense’, ‘you’ll do for me’: Not all Birmingham fans are delighted by latest transfer

It’s not every day you sign a player from one of the biggest teams in the world.

Whilst he may not be in the same class as a Gareth Bale, Luka Modric or Sergio Ramos, it’s a pleasant surprise to see someone willing to make the move from Madrid to Birmingham (no offence).

City yesterday announced the signing of goalkeeper Moha Ramos from Real Madrid. The 19-year-old stopper joins on an initial one-year loan, with the club having the option to make it permanent should he impress during his time at St Andrew’s.

The move has been rumoured for a few days, and when he was pictured taking in the Blues pre-season match against Brighton at the weekend, it looked as if the deal was 90% done. Which makes you wonder why it took so long for the deal to become official. Maybe he looked at that defence and had second thoughts?

Now that it’s all completed though, Birmingham fans were quick to take to social media and breathe a huge sigh of relief that the club managed to get the deal over the line in the end.

Surprisingly though, there were a few fans who weren’t all that impressed with the deal. Whether they don’t think he’s good enough, or if they think the club has got enough goalkeepers as it is, they weren’t exactly over the moon with the news.
