Macheda Looking To Stay In England.

On-loan Birmingham City striker Federico Macheda says that he wants his career to continue in England rather than move to a club somewhere in Europe.

The striker who is enjoying a quite a successful loan spell with Blues is enjoying his time at St Andrews and has managed nine goals since arriving in January.

The Italian’s stay at Blues has been the sixth club that he has been at in the last three years, but despite the fact that he cannot get a club which he can settle at, England is the place that he wants to play his football in.

He told calciomercato.it: ‘In Birmingham things are going quite well, I’m scoring regularly.

‘My future? It’s moving something important. I’d like to remain in England because I have grown up here with football.

‘I think I won’t return to Manchester regardless of the new coach.’
