Birmingham City have spoken with three managers about taking over from Steve Cotterill despite the current manager still being employed.

Reports suggest that one manager is not keen on the potential vacancy while two others are interested.

Vital Birmingham understands the above reports to be accurate.

The net seems to be closing in on Cotterill who isn’t a popular figure with the supporters and club source refused to comment when asked about the managers future.

A source close to Vital Birmingham but not officially connected to the club said – ‘I would be very surprised if he is in charge against Forest on Saturday’.

  • What decent manager in their right mind would take the job when their advisors look at the financial state of the club. SC was promised money and he didn’t get it so what can the owners promise anyone new. SC would have a big pay-off and we don’t have any money. Carsley doesn’t want it and by his own admission isn’t ready to manage yet, so what or who exactly would this leave on the so called wish list?
