Well now’s your chance as Birmingham City FC have teamed up with Football Aid – – to provide fans with the unique opportunity to play at St Andrew`s on Wednesday 9th May (KO 7pm), while raising valuable funds for the BCFC Community Trust.

Football Aid have been organising charity games for over 16 years now and are regarded as the original and best in delivering the ultimate pitch day experience. The game offers fans the unrivalled opportunity to experience a matchday in the same way the likes of David Stockdale, Harlee Dean, David Davis, Sam Gallagher and the rest of the squad do every other week.

As a player you’ll get the chance to pull on your exclusive personalised Birmingham City replica shirt in the official changing rooms, experience the thrill of walking down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and step out onto the hallowed turf proudly sporting your official playing kit and represent The Blues in a never to be forgotten 90 minutes of football!

To add to that, the matches at St Andrew’s have also been supported by a host of fantastic Blues legends in recent years, with the likes of Kevan Broadhurst, Geoff Horsfield, Jeff Kenna, Dele Adebola, Darren Carter, Maik Taylor, Robert Hopkins, Kevin Poole, Jerry Gill (and many more) all lending their extra special support by playing alongside or managing the fans on their big day.

Positions are available for Bidding from just £155 and securing a position couldn’t be easier! Just visit and choose the Birmingham City game, you’ll then have two options: Opt 1: Bid to Play – Enter your Maximum Bid and if you’re the highest bidder when the position closes you’ll win a place on your Field of Dreams, or Opt 2: Buy Now – Close the auction early and secure your place with a one off payment. Positions close at regular intervals throughout the bidding period, the first of the positions closed on Tuesday 13th February and final positions closing Wednesday 14th March.

I’ve been playing in the Football Aid games for a few years now and each time is so amazing to live out the dream playing on my team’s pitch which I never thought I would be able to but I now can thanks to Football Aid. It’s not only the opportunity to live out my dream but the money raised to goes to some amazing causes which is important too. The whole day is so well organised and made easy for us players. I appreciate all the effort you and your team put in, so thank you”.

Since forming in 2001 Football Aid have allowed over 17,800 football fans the chance to Live the Dream in 674 matches all over the UK and Europe, while raising over £2.3M for charity. The unique concept was the brainchild of businessman and Football Aid Founder Craig Paterson and funds raised from this year’s event will benefit the work of a charitable project nominated by BCFC Community Trust, as well as projects nominated by Football Aid’s parent charity Field of Dreams.
