Clayton Donaldson will play in Jamaica’s World Cup qualifying game against Haiti on Tuesday despite the Reggae Boyz being unable to qualify with one game left.

The Don will then fly home and is expected to be back with the Blues squad on Thursday or Friday ahead of the teams trip to Fulham.

With flying back and forth to represent his country taking a toll on the 32 year-old, Gary Rowett may put Donaldson on the bench at Craven Cottage.

Despite having his best game of the season against Norwich which including bagging two goals, Donaldson may have to kick his heels on the bench.

Che Adams, who has had a positive impact since joining from Sheffield United, may be partnered with new boy Lukas Jutkiewicz if Rowett opts for a two man strike force. However, Jutkiewicz could be adopted up front as a lone striker with one of Adams or Diego Fabbrini in behind.

Rowett will assess Donaldson before naming his side to face the Cottagers and will do everything he can to start his main man. However, with an array of options now available, the Blues manager may consider a change in personnel.
