Luke Turner thinks Fulham have moved on from their dreadful 2015/16 season…

The last time Blues travelled to Craven Cottage, I think we all know what happened. Gary Rowett`s side ran out 5-2 winners against a Fulham side that scored goals but, defensively, were shambolic.

However, when we face them again this Saturday, I’m expecting a completely different test from a changed Fulham team.

They have already kept two clean sheets in five games this season with David Button in goal compared to the four they kept throughout the whole of last season.

It’s highly unlikely that they’ll concede anywhere near the 79 goals they conceded last season but there may still be cracks in the defence.

Slavisa Jokanovic may have lost his two key men in Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele but he has shored up the defence and brought in the likes of Chris Martin to help supply the goals.

It’s not going to be easy for Blues against a side that are unbeaten in the league and cup so far this season and who currently occupy second position.

Blues will have to be patient, organised and, when given the opportunity, we must take our chances.

This is a changed Fulham side who will now make us work a lot harder for chances and goals so it’s up to our attacking players to take on the challenge.
