Looks like the merry go round when it comes to forwards at St Andrew’s is going to come to and end.
Well, for the time being at least.
According to a report from The Athletic, the Blues pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderer’s Bright Enobakhare is ‘off for now’ as personal terms between the club and the player couldn’t be agreed. Birmingham City have been looking at him since the summer but it looks as if their attempts to bring him in are going to come to a grinding halt, for the time being anyway.
It looks as if the forward position is going to be the main focus in the last remaining hours of the transfer window, with Alvaro Gimenez reported to be on his way out of the club despite only joining the club in the summer.
The news wasn’t met with much enthusiasm from the Birmingham City faithful as they seemed to be rather annoyed at the potential of being left with not enough people up front to compete for the rest of the season, although there were a few people who haven’t given up hope just yet.
Will be typical of blues to end up with less attacking options than we started the window with which obviously wasn’t enough #dongout #pepout

Could just be a way of negotiating to try and get wolves to help us out wages wise ?

Gimenez to leave, Enobakhare deal is off, so were in exactly the same position as we were before, just 2 strikers in the squad. If they cant sort anything in the last 30 days, I doubt anything is gonna crack off in the last few hrs. #BCFC #KRO

Will the Blues bring in another forward before the window closes?
Yes
No
Let’s see if there are going to be any more twists and turns before the window slams shut.
