Ex-Blues loanee Ravel Morrison’s response to a tweet by rapper Jaykae has gotten a few fans excited.

The midfielder is currently still at Lazio, although he is unlikely to play any part for the Italian side this campaign after spending the last two seasons out on loan.

When asked by Jaykae about whether he could move to St Andrew’s for a second loan spell with us, Morrison said:

Fans on Twitter then responded with many excited about the prospect of the 25-year-old’s return:

Some want the ex England U21 international to get in contact with Garry Monk:

Morrison certainly played well when he was at the club back in the 2012/13 season. His talent has never been in question, but his attitude is something that has always been a major worry.

Still, considering what Monk has done to improve players in the squad (most notably Jota), who is to say he couldn’t inspire Ravel to finally realise his full potential?

Would you welcome back Morrison, or do you think we should be looking elsewhere for our final summer signing? Let me know in the poll:

  • This is such an old story now where was your when this first started going around the net. Yes I would take him back he did nothing wrong when he was on loan with us last time. I don’t know how long it as to be in someone’s life before we can just see them for who they are now but I would say it’s been long enough.
